Alright all you out there who have told me time and time again that I need to update my blog, I am finally doing it! It would be pretty difficult to get you totally up to speed since it has been over two years since I last posted, but I will do my best. As most of you know we had another beautiful little baby on 12/14/2010. We named him Ethan and we all just love him! This might be our last child (still deciding) so I have really been savoring all of the time I have with him. Treyson has gotten so big. He just turned four last month and is so full of energy. He is such a smartie pants. It amazes me how fast kids can learn and the thought processes they go through. Gavin turned two in November. He loves to dance and hang 0ut with his older brother. Everyday he says new words and has more attitude. Our kids have been so awesome with little Ethan. From day one they have been nothing but loving to him. They love to give him kisses and make him smile. Treyson loves to lay by him and talk to him. Ethan loves it. My plan was to quit Lenscrafters after having Ethan and just be a stay at home mom but they talked me in to staying. I work a couple of days a week and only about 4 hour shifts so it really isn't a bad gig. I just can't seem to be able to say goodbye to the darn place. For the most part I am always at home with the kiddos and I am loving it. I think we have really built some good relationships and even though we are dirt poor I really wouldn't have it any other way. Jordan gradutates next week with his bachelors in exercise science. He applied to Graduate schools for their physical therapy programs. It was super competitive this year. He got onto the alternate lists at UNLV and ISU. As of right now his plan is to become a certified personal trainer (I am his first client) and we will just kind of wait it out, see what happens. Either way I am so proud of him and all of his hard work. He is relieved to get a little break and to be able to spend more time with us. If he doesn't get in this year we decided that maybe he would retake a few classes and try again next year. We are just trying our best to have faith in the Lord that it will all work out. Well thats our life for the last two years in a nutshell. I am not making any promises that it won't be another two years before I update again :) Oh and I know I know I need an updated family photo. Hopefully we will have one soon!

We Just wanted to thank everyone who came to Gavin's blessing last Saturday. It was such a good experience and we realize how hard it was to make it because of all the snow.

Christmas

We spent Christmas this year at my sister Cherice's. We were just going to go for Christmas Eve and then come home but we kinda got snowed in so ended up staying a couple of nights. It was a full house but we really enjoyed ourselves. My parents came from California and brought my brother Jesse, his wife, and little boy with them. We just sat around and talked and ate food all day long. I just love spending time with family, especially during the holidays. For Christmas this year we gave Treyson an Elmo Live. I don't know if you have seen one of these but they are pretty cool. He tells jokes, stories, sneezes and a whole lot more. Jordan was a little spoiled and got an XBOX 360. He can't wait to to do XBOX live with his brother.

You would think this face is because he is cold but no he is crying because he didn't want to come inside. The snow has been a big hit with Treyson. He would spend all day outside if we would let him. Jordan took him sledding and he really loved it.

We went to Logan this weekend for a baby shower and stayed with Jordan's brother Jodee. It was so much fun to see Treyson and his Cousin Carter together. They were the best of friends. I love spending time with family!

A New Job

Jordan accepted a new job yesterday. The rehabilitation center he volunteers at had a job opening and they asked if he would apply. He is excited to be able to quit melaleuca. As am I. It is hard with our two different schedules we never get to see each other. He won't be getting paid as much and it not as many hours but he will get the experience and volunteer hours for PT school. I am excited for him that he is doing something that he really enjoys. It was hard to see him go to work at Qwest everyday because i knew how much he hated it. He is so much happier now doing something that he enjoys.

We are trying to get the room ready for the new baby. We went ahead and got a toddler bed thinking we would wait to put Treyson in it, but as soon as we set it up he layed down and went AHhhhhhh. He loves it. Also I think that he loves not having to wait for mom or dad to get him out of the crib in the morning. Now he can come in out bedroom and wake us up. I am still getting used to feeling a tap on my shoulder every morning.

We bought Treyson some snow boots and he insists on wearing them all around the house. I thought it made cute picture.
